What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a traditional Indian system of medicine that emphasizes the interdependence of body, mind, and spirit in maintaining good health. It emphasizes a holistic approach to health and seeks to balance the body and mind through natural remedies, including herbs, diet, meditation, and yoga. In Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine from India, there is a concept known as “doshas” that categorizes body types or constitutions. The three primary doshas are Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
